Cameron Norton is a Partner, Government and Public Policy, in executive search for SHK.
Cameron began his career in the Victorian Public Service, working in diverse HR roles such as operations, organisational development, transformation, and workforce engagement. He has since gained over 15 years’ experience across public, private, and tech start-ups, across executive search and consulting.
Cameron transitioned to consulting in 2014, focusing on executive recruitment for government, not-for-profit, and community sectors. In 2019, he was named SEEK Recruitment Consultant of the Year for his dedication to candidate experience, client partnerships, commercial acumen and sector contributions.
With a growth mindset, Cameron expanded his expertise by joining a tech start-up before returning to People Advisory roles. Prior to joining SHK, Cameon led an Experience Management consulting team enhancing employee and customer experiences.
Cameron has successfully led over 500 executive searches across diverse sectors and has experience in workforce planning, experience management, organisational design and change. He is passionate about helping individuals align with impactful professional opportunities and partnering with organisations to find talent who align with their goals.
Cameron holds an Honours degree in Business from La Trobe University, with majors in Human Resources and Marketing.
