Deputy CEO Roles for the NDIA (October 2024)

About the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA)

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is an independent statutory agency. We are responsible for implementing the world leading National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms since Medicare. The NDIS is designed to enhance the quality of life and increase economic and social participation for people with disability and provide peace of mind for every Australian.

The Deputy Chief Executive Officers (DCEO) together with the CEO and other colleagues comprise the Strategic Leadership Team (SLT).

Due to evolving needs and the future focus of the NDIA, we now seek two outstanding leaders to be appointed as DCEO Children (a new role), and DCEO, Governance Risk and Legal. Both are Band 3 (SES-3) roles, part of the SLT.

Both DCEOs lead broad areas to ensure the experience, choice and control for people with disability are consistently meeting needs and improving over time.
