About the role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and playing a key role within a close-knit executive leadership team, the Chief Commercial Officer will be pivotal in providing customer care, interfacing with product or service offerings and ensuring all organisational functions align with strategic commercial goals. Accountabilities include driving business growth and market share through sales, marketing and product development, fostering a customer-focussed mindset and long-term partnerships across markets. The role entails developing and executing business development strategies, managing all aspects of marketing and leading, and evolving, a cohesive and high- performing team across multiple product categories and business segments.
About you
You are a highly collaborative, values-driven commercial leader with significant experience in sales and international trade and ideally, though not essential, in the food and beverage sector. You thrive in fast-paced settings and sit comfortably with ambiguity where your adaptability is your advantage. You are equally skilled at strategy and outcomes-focussed execution. A true people person with high EQ, you build thriving ‘win-win’ relationships and high-performing teams that face forward to advance, together. You may have previously held executive-level roles within close-knit, privately owned organisations. You are tertiary qualified, ideally with an MBA or equivalent.
