About the role
The Chief People and Culture Officer (CPCO) is key in leading Hume Bank into a brighter, more exciting future. Joining a high-performing executive team with big ambitions for progress and change, the CPCO will guide the delivery of a people strategy that aligns with the bank’s long-term vision. Central to this will be the delivery of a standout employee value proposition that fosters a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Other areas of focus include adapting organisational design, improving talent acquisition and retention, and enhancing employee wellbeing. The CPCO will lead a small but mighty team delivering a high-quality people and culture function, and strengthening Hume Bank’s position as an employer of choice in the region.
About you
An adaptable and pragmatic human resources executive, with a values-driven approach to leadership and change, you lead with purpose and passion, combining strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to getting things done. You have exceptional generalist skills, and are just as comfortable rolling up your sleeves as you are offering strategic advice to leadership and the board. With your ability to influence and strengthen workplace dynamics, you bring both practical, sustainable solutions and an unwavering dedication to employee engagement and wellbeing.
