About the role
The General Manager, In-Home Aged Care & Health Care Services, leads the delivery of high-quality, financially sustainable home care services while driving growth, diversification and continuous improvement to ensure VMCH has the capacity and capability to provide a range of services aligned with the changing needs of individuals. This includes providing strategic and operational leadership to meet key objectives, manage budgets and risk, and adhere to quality compliance. Effective stakeholder communication, particularly with residents and clients, will be essential to success in this role. In guiding the Home Care Services team, the appointee will foster high-performance and client-centricity by providing role clarity, clear objectives, and ongoing feedback and staff development.
About you
A highly experienced senior leader in home care and community aged care, you bring a strong track record in strategic planning, operational management and business growth. With tertiary qualifications in community, health or social sciences, you have a deep understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape impacting disability, education and community services. Skilled in workforce planning, change management and clinical governance, you are a proven leader of high-performing teams to deliver financially sustainable, high-quality person-centred care. Your expertise includes budget management, stakeholder engagement and service innovation, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with evolving client needs. Adept at navigating government funding frameworks, you operate with integrity, discretion and a commitment to excellence in care delivery.
