About the role
Reporting to the Director and Board, the General Manager Powersports & Products is responsible for delivering revenue, profit and sales objectives by leading the formulation and implementation of national sales and channel strategies. The role is pivotal on the long-term success of the business and oversees network sales, product strategy creation, and lifecycle planning to achieve sales and profit targets, while collaborating effectively with key stakeholders across the business. The role leads a large team spanning multiple products and channels, network development, product planning, sales operations, strategy & planning, purchasing & logistics, network innovation and more. As a member of the senior leadership team, the appointee will work closely with other divisional heads to support the achievement of business objectives.
About you
You are a commercially minded, consumer driven sales leader with experience in wholesale durable consumer goods industries such as motorcycles, power products, farm machinery, power tools, marine, agricultural and other aligned sectors. With a proven track record in a global organisation and franchised industry, you possess the ability to lead and motivate a high performing national sale and network team, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a strong capacity to deliver on numerous and competing priorities. You are known for your excellent business acumen including core issue identification, analytical skills, problem solving and financial literacy, with the ability to drive strong business and profit growth.
