About the role
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for managing the financial performance of the organisation and provides commercial insights to facilitate informed decision-making to enhance performance and deliver strategic and operational objectives. With dual reporting to the VP Global Finance, located overseas, and the local CEO, the CFO partners with a high-performing executive leadership team and oversees strategic and financial operations, supporting the continued growth ambitions of the business. Leading a team of finance and commercial professionals, the role oversees the finance, tax, treasury, commercial and business partnering, internal audit and property management functions.
About you
CA/CPA qualified, you are an experienced and commercially agile CFO ideally from a retail environment. Flexible and adaptable, you are an enterprise leader who facilitates diverse thinking and has excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. A trusted, reliable business partner, you have a track record of successfully guiding business direction and developing and delivering growth strategies. You foster respectful and collegiate relationships and have experience working cross functionally in a complex matrix environment. A focus on ensuring strong compliance and governance frameworks is complemented by your commercial acumen, strategic agility and technical expertise.
