About the Role
Reporting to the Managing Director (MD), the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the organisation’s financial operations, obligations and risks to enable compliance with all relevant legislation and shareholder requirements and ensure long-term viability and sustainability. A trusted advisor and strategic partner to the MD and key member of the Executive, the CFO contributes to the development and implementation of organisational strategy, regulatory pricing submissions, corporate planning and business planning. The role also provides strategic, financial and commercial advice to the Board and relevant committees as well as key external stakeholders. The CFO leads a team of corporate services specialists to partner with the business and deliver value in the context of the organisational strategy and its objectives, always with a resolute focus on customer, community and environment.
About You
CA/CPA qualified, you have extensive experience in a senior finance role in a large, regulated organisation, and are recognised as an adaptive and forward-thinking enterprise leader. Your track record includes managing the needs of multiple stakeholders, navigating a complex and dynamic environment where you are a trusted advisor in the execution of an organisation’s strategic priorities and position the organisation well to meet expectations from the shareholder, its regulatory and statutory obligations and the ever-changing community needs. Strategic planning and delivery of enterprise-wide, multi-year programs of work and leading a suite of corporate services functions is highly valued.
